Sneak peak of our DISCO ball decoration workshop at last week’s Green Drinks!

We had so much fun crafting decorations from upcycled materials – CDs from Wanaka Wastebusters and cardboard from Nood boxes – to make party decorations without single use plastic!

Thanks to the legends at Smiths – Craft Beer House for hosting us, to Daniel from Zero Waste Glenorchy for bringing the tunes as our DJ (a man of many talents, you might also know him as the GY composting king!), to our epic craft helpers Amanda and Sofi, and to the Queenstown Lakes District Council Zero Waste District Programme that part-funded this event through the ResOURceful Communities initiative run by Wastebusters.

And a HUGE thank you to our creative genius and host, Megan Glenn, who brought this idea to life!
