Each year we bring you the annual Surplus to Sublime dinner in collaboration with the team at KiwiHarvest.
This year we were Hosted by the Millhouse at Millbrook Resort, 50 beautiful folks gathered for a tour of Millbrook’s Kitchen Garden (shout out to Mikey for being the coolest food growing dude around), followed by the most delicious dinner created from rescued, donated and homegrown produce (cheers to Andi, Matteo and their team of hugely talented Millhouse chefs).
The event raised a fantastic $5810 for Sustainable Queenstown and KiwiHarvest and showcased exactly how food destined for landfill can be turned into a delicious meal to be shared.
Huge thanks to Valli Wine for donating their Riesling for our welcome drink, to all our local artists who donated a creation for our silent auction and to the Queenstown Lakes District Council Waste Minimisation team for sponsoring the event.
